CASTLE WARD

Your local councillor – here to help

How can I help?

About Me

I’m Allan Copsey, one of your Castle Ward councillors. I’m here to represent local residents, help with problems involving the council and other public services, and make sure your concerns are heard.I regularly spend time around the ward speaking with residents and seeing issues first-hand. If something is affecting you or your neighbourhood, please get in touch.

Experience I bring to the roleBefore becoming a councillor, I spent more than 30 years working in the public sector, including financial management, business planning and scrutinising how public money is spent. I bring that experience to my work on the council.

Current Ward Issues

I’m currently working on a number of issues raised by residents across Castle Ward. I’ll use this page to provide updates as matters progress.

Town Centre Post OfficeI support keeping a Post Office counter service in Tamworth town centre and have been raising the impact the loss of this service would have on Castle Ward residents, particularly those who rely on face-to-face services.I’ll update this page as proposals develop.
